The 'Group View' feature of Nuke 16 (and above) adds a '+' icon on all groups (including PxF Gizmos) by default.
If you find this annoying, you can change the default 'Group View' behaviour on all groups (including PxF Gizmos).
To do that, use your favourite text editor to modify the 'menu.py' file provided in the 'pixelfudger3' folder.
Remove the '#' at the start of this line:
nuke.knobDefault("Group.disable_group_view", "1")
This will enable 'Disable Group View' by default on all groups.
